Dragonquilt by Kumiko Frydl

I have been quilting since 1987.  I started with quilted garments, and moved on to medium sized quilts for hanging, and eventually streamlined my efforts into miniatures. 

My favourite techniques are paper foundation piecing and trapunto. 

I am originally from Japan, but moved to Canada with my husband in 1981.  I have lived in Canada, the USA, and the UK, and have entered my quilts into shows in all three countries.
